Payroll Assistant

Northern Gold Foods (USA) is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of healthy and great tasting breakfast and snack products and we're looking for a Payroll Assistant at our new facility in Junction City. We offer excellent benefits and a competitive wage.

This position requires that you be able to work independently and work as a team with good problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and you must be detailed oriented.

This position will process payroll information into ADP and maintain other personnel tracking records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Time entry into ADP
• Attendance tracking
• Maintain payroll files and records
• Maintain other employee databases, such as lockers, uniforms, etc.
• Respond to requests for information about payroll
• Filing
• Light phones
• Assist with other HR projects as needed

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous payroll experience in ADP is required (minimum one year experience)
• Knowledge of payroll practices and procedures
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information related to personnel
• Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting, standing, walking, regular use of stairs

WORK CONDITIONS

• Office setting with occasional need to visit the production floor
• This position is scheduled for Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• This position cannot be worked remotely
