Production Supervisor

Northern Gold Foods (USA) is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of healthy and great tasting breakfast and snack products. We're looking for a Production Supervisor at our facility in Junction City, Oregon. We offer excellent benefits and a competitive wage.

SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the coordination of production activities within the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate production resources to execute against production plans while meeting strict quality control standards and ensuring a safe working environment
• Supervise multiple teams of employees
• Troubleshoot process issues and executing corrective actions
• Liaise with other departments including Quality Control and Maintenance and warehouse
• Train new employees
• Other tasks as assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory or lead hand role in a manufacturing environment; preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in the food processing industry
• Demonstrated superior decision making and problem-solving abilities
• Strong record of working with tight deadlines and high volumes of product
• Highly motivated and efficient while possessing both interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Adept at working directly with production personnel
• Ability to speak, read and write English Fluently as it pertains to fulfilling job requirements.
• Ability to work in a team environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing and walking up to 8 hours
• Able to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs.
• Able to continually bend, stoop, twist, use arms, wrists and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout shift
• Able to occasionally kneel, reach above the shoulder, work at heights and climb steps with ingredients weighing 25 to 50 lbs.

WORK CONDITIONS

• This is a 24/7 manufacturing environment; candidate must have shift flexibility and be willing to rotate shifts
• Must be available to work overtime hours if required
